At the core is a pocket spring interior, a traditional sleep system made up of totally independent springs housed in their own cloth sleeve. This allows free movement so the load on one coil is not affected by any neighbouring springs to provide piston-like support to each part the body. A flat rod-edge frame surrounds the spring system.
